lyrics
An incision is made at the base of the brain
Implanted nanomachines penetrate neural tissue
A hybridization of parts mechanical and organic
Micro-machines interface with a vast sea of information
Another chance to live
Consciousness digitized
Memories and aspirations retained
Minimizing the burden of mortality
No longer bound to the physical body
The notion of individuality will be diminished
With the ever-increasing interconnection of thoughts and concepts
Consciousness converted to mere data
Able to be transferred, deleted, or alterer
[Solo - Connor]
An endless endeavor for perfection
Eclipsing the human condition
Artificial enhancement
Exceeding our previous limits
Losing oneself
In a quest for divinity
Another chance to live
Consciousness digitized
Memories and aspirations replaced
Minimizing the burden of mortality
No longer bound to the physical body

Hype is a funny thing. Usually when I hear everywhere "Dude this shit is 🔥" or even the dreaded and oft-used "AOTY!!" bullshit, I roll my eyes. And I rolled my eyes last year on the hype train for Carnosus. But again, for every thousandth breathless fanboy review I've seen, sometimes the album exceeds the expectation. So I will confidently tell you that, yes, "This shit is 🔥" as I wait for Willowtip to release that sweet Green Ghostly vinyl variant domestically 🤣 Finally a win for my wallet! bcb723

Since Spenser Moore replaced Blackburn I’ve frankly appreciated Inferi far more. I feel that his drumming improves the overall sound of the band a great deal, but it’s probably just a personal style preference. Either way, Of Sunless Realms was a great foreshadowing of the epic Vile Genesis. Metallurgical Fire
